Venue
Stonehaven is the largest alfresco Garden Restaurant in SA with 1000 rose bushes located on the banks of the Vaal River. Variety of dining options: Dining Terrace overlooking the river, gazebos on the lawns, the Pool Terrance, Wine Cellar and River Pub filled with antiques, nautical ornaments and memorabilia. Menus range from light pub meals to a full restaurant menu. Stonehaven hosts Sunday Cruising Buffets aboard the luxurious Spirit of Jen and is 45mins from Jo’burg.

Location
Only 45-mins drive from Jo’burg located on the banks of the Vaal River, Stonehaven is the largest alfresco Garden Restaurant in SA. A busy Stonehaven Harbour offers a selection of River Cruises ideal as a social break for Conference Delegates who have conferenced on land, onboard dining available and a variety of Team Building activities. Stonehaven is a member of SAACI and was voted one of top three Conference Venues in the Sedibeng Tourism Awards with a level 2 BBEE.

 FACILITIES / WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

Facilities
The "Pool Terrace" and "Wine Cellar" are air-conditioned. The "River Terrace" and "Boat House Terrace" are both cool venues and have heating in winter. These venues are included in the conference delegate fee.

However if you wish to treat your delegates to the unique experience of conferencing by Cruiser - the cost over and above the above mentioned day packages will be the hours required for the Cruisers:

Smaller Luxury Cruiser "The Rand Water Cruiser" - (comfortably 8 – 12 delegates – depending on seating layout)

Larger Luxury Cruiser "The Royal Stonehaven" - (comfortably 30 – 50 delegates – depending on seating layout)

Ultra Luxury Cruiser "The Spirit of Jen" - (comfortably 80 - 150 delegates). The Cruiser is equipped with Screens, Video Machine, TV, Overhead Projector, Flip Charts, White Boards & Proxima/Data Projector (on request)

Our Executive Chef is most flexible, so if you would like to add, delete or make adjustments to any of the attached menus.

The following facilities are included in the various conferencing packages:- Private venues (4 – 200 guests), ADSL Internet Connection, Television, Video Machine & DVD Player, Overhead Projector & Screen, White Board & White Board Pens, Flipcharts and Chart Pens, Hire of the Proxima/Data Projector (additional cost), (Should you wish us to supply writing pens & paper and bottled water there is an additional cost)

Should you wish to organise a social break or finalé for your Delegates who have conferenced on land, we can organise a Social River Cruise on one of the Cruisers with or without snacks.

Accommodation
Stone Manor Guesthouse with 8 ensuite rooms as well as a hotel nearby.

Our Specials
Book a conference at Stonehaven for 20 or more delegates and receive a complimentary 1 hour river cruise about one of the luxurious Stonehaven River Cruisers. The cruise can be used as a team building activity or can be used as a great social break during the conference. Each cruises has a fully stocked bar, dining onboard can also be arranged
